Introduction/Position Papers

NAPGCM is committed to identifying and influencing policy issues that have a direct bearing on the work of our members and the clients we serve.

A Public Policy Committee that answers to the NAPGCM Board of Directors deliberates and recommends pertinent issues for NAPGCM to address. NAPGCM contracts with a legislative consultant in Washington D.C. to offer strategic support in this process and to promote the interests of our membership to policy makers by monitoring the legislative and regulatory process, collaborating with other organizations, and working directly with policymakers and their staff.

Position Papers

NAPGCM issues Position Papers on issues of core importance to our members and their clients that guide our internal and external educational and policy efforts.  NAPGCM actively seeks and participates in collaborative relationships with like-minded organizations to build greater support for relevant issues of shared concern.
